Here is everything you need to know about Workspace (Plus) subscriptions: 

Who can upgrade the subscription from Free to Plus?

Only the organization owner can upgrade from Workspace Free to Workspace Plus. Follow the steps as explained here. 
Also, once the billing details are added, all users in your Organization can create data rooms on the company's billing details too.

What are the differences between features in Workspace Free & Workspace plus?

Currently Virtual Vaults does not differentiate in terms of functionality to make sure you get a solid experience of Workspaces Free. 
However, Workspace Free is limited to 3 active Workspaces, so for anyone who wants to have more open Workspaces, an upgrade is necessary.

Can organizations without a Workspace Free subscription (just a Vault subscription) upgrade to Workspace Plus?

If you are in an Organization like this, you cannot upgrade within the platform and will need to contact our Sales or Customers Success team. They will help you proceed

Who can buy more Workspaces?

Every organization user can purchase more Workspaces with Workspaces Plus.
Regular users will only see the option to purchase an additional Workspace if the limit has been reached. They can only buy one additional Workspace at a time. The price for the Workspace add-on will be shown in the checkout for all users in that organization.
- Organization owners can purchase more Workspaces even when the limit has not been reached yet via the organizations "Subscriptions page"

Can I cancel the Workspaces Plus subscription?

The organization owner(s) can cancel the Workspace Plus subscription.

What happens when you cancel the subscription?

All Workspaces related to your Workspace subscription can only be used for the remaining period of the subscription. After the cancelation date, all Workspaces will be closed.
Workspace users will be notified in the platform that the Workspace is scheduled for closing and all Admins receive a notification via email. 

What should I do when I can’t undo the cancellation of my subscription, but want to create new Workspaces or re-open old ones?

Customer success can help reactivate your Workspace Plus subscription 
If too much time has passed and we can not reactivate your old subscription, we can create a new subscription for you and link all your old Workspaces to it. 

What are the Workspace limits for the subscriptions?

For Workspaces Free: max 3 Workspaces
For Workspaces Plus: 5 Workspaces included, with possible add-ons.

What happens when I reach the maximum amount of Workspaces?

It depends if your organization has a Workspaces Free or Workspaces Plus subscription: 
- Workspaces Free: You will get an upgrade window and are able to upgrade directly if you are the Organization Owner. Otherwise you are advised to contact the organization owner (who can then upgrade the subscription). 
- Workspaces Plus: You will receive a notification that your limit has been reached. You can purchase a new Workspace, which ups your Workspace limit.  limit reached
The purchase counts as a paid add-on. The pop-up will also show the additional costs of this extra Workspace for the remainder of your subscription term:

Can I still open data rooms when my organization has reached the limit?

Yes, creating new data rooms is not in connection to the limit of Workspaces.
Any Organization user will keep the option to create a data room with the prefilled billing details (your Organization pays) or create a data room by sending out an Order form (a third party pays).
