Delete a role
How to delete a role?
As a Vault Admin, you can delete a role as long as there are no users in this role and there is no Q&A activity.
User Management Tip: If users in the role have been part of the Q&A process and you cannot delete the role, you can deactivate it. Users in a deactivated role can't access the Vault. Visit Deactivate role to learn how to perform this action.
1. Log in to your Vault and navigate to the role you want to delete.
2. If there are users in the role, delete all the users. Visit Remove users to learn more about performing this action.
3. Navigate to the Actions menu in the top right of the bar of the role and select Delete role.
4. Select Yes to finalize the action.
Note: If you can't delete a role, you will get a warning message stating why the role was not deleted.
