Set permissions on newly added items
Apply set permissions or No permissions?
Whenever new items are being uploaded, created or moved to a new destination, Vault Admins and Project Admins get to set permissions for it. They will have the choice to Apply set permissions or No permissions.
Applying the set permissions means the item will get the same permission as the destination folder. You can check how these permissions are set for each role by clicking (show).
Applying no permissions means the item will be invisible to every user except the user that set the permission and the Vault Admins.
Note: Content Admins will always apply the set permission when uploading, creating and moving items to a new destination.
