When we say unlimited, we mean it generously. Workspaces, users, and storage are there for you to use. We just ask that you respect the spirit and intended scope of your plan. This policy is part of article 2.3 of our General Terms and Conditions.
What we monitor
We monitor usage across the Service to ensure it aligns with the intended scope of your Subscription Plan. Examples of what we look at include the balance between your Workspaces and Data Rooms, whether your team size matches your usage, and storage capacity usage.
Plans with unlimited storage capacity
Unlimited storage means you shouldn't worry about storage in your day-to-day work. Therefore, we set fair-use thresholds for storage at a minimum of five times the historical average usage per plan. These are the levels where we’d reach out:

Advisor Premium Plan
The Advisor Premium Plan is designed for teams that actively manage deals and produce Data Rooms. We expect the number of licensed seats in your organization’s Subscription Plan to reflect your team using the Service. Colleagues who use or benefit from the Service should be invited to the organization’s account. A low number of seats relative to active usage may indicate usage beyond the intended scope of the plan.
What happens if we notice something?
We will reach out first. We won’t restrict your account without talking to you.
- We contact you to discuss our observation.
- Following our conversation, we will determine whether your usage aligns with your plan.
- If needed, we suggest an upgrade to a fitting plan or custom pricing.
- Only if we cannot resolve the situation, we may apply a surcharge or restrict access.
