Closing a Data Room

When the deal is complete, you can close the Data Room. We recommend archiving the Data Room on USB before closing. After closure, all data will be permanently deleted from our servers after 30 days.

Note: Only Data Room Admins can close a Data Room. If you’re the owner but don’t have access to the Data Room or can’t log in to Virtual Vaults, email us at support@virtualvaults.com and we’ll close it for you.

Follow these steps to close your Data Room:

1. On the All Projects page, find your project and click the three dots in the Data Room tile.close vault

2. Select Close Data Room from the menu.

3. Choose whether to Close immediately or Choose closing date and time.close vault

4. Click Next to review the closing details. If everything looks correct, click Finish. The Data Room will close immediately if you selected that option, or at the scheduled date and time. Its subscription will not renew.
