A Manager with limited permissions has more permissions than a Contributor or Guest, but fewer rights than a Manager with full permissions or an Admin.
Limited Managers can manage certain aspects, such as uploading documents and managing the folder structure, but they cannot change the permissions of other users when they don't have those permissions themselves.

When an Admin limits a Manager in the permissions on a folder, file or placeholder the following warning will show:
1. To resolve this, the Admin must go the permissions screen of the limited Managers and click on the icon seen below: -
Managers will see the following message when they want to set/change permissions on an item they don't have full permissions on:
Note: Only Admins are able to change Manager's permissions.
