Get started with your VV account

The Virtual Vaults platform enables deal makers to prepare, make and secure their deals in our safe online environment. Start preparing your project in Workspaces, manage your due diligence in the Vault and finally seal the deal with an Archive. Getting started in Virtual Vaults couldn't be easier!

1. Check your email inbox and look for the email with the subject:
  • You're invited to join Workspace - Workspace name
  • Invitation to Virtual Vaults Data Room - Vault name
  • Invitation to Virtual Vaults Organization - Organization name
Check your spam or junk folder, as well as any inbox filters, just in case emails from Virtual Vaults are being sent there by mistake. If you did not receive the email invite visit Invitation email not received. 
Note: The invitation email link will be valid for only 14 days. If the link expired please contact your Vault Admin or our Customer Success team and request a new invite. 
2. Click  Register in the email and a browser will open.
3. Select your preferred language and enter your personal details.
4. Set up a strong password of at least 10 characters.
  Password Tip: We want to make sure your account is as secure as possible. That is why we have set the following password requirements:
  • Choose a random and unique password consisting of at least 10 characters.
  • Do not use personal information (name, date of birth, role, company etc.)
  • The platform checks several databases, to see if the password has been part of a data breach in the past.
  • The longer your password, the better.
  • We advise you to store your passwords in a safe password manager like 1Password or Lastpass. Both programs contain a password generator.
5. Fill in your mobile phone number and select a verification option. Make sure you register with your personal mobile phone. Visit Text message (SMS) not received during registration or login if you are experiencing this issue.
6. Set up an authenticator app, accept Terms of Use and click  Finish. Visit The authenticator app to learn more about it and why we recommend it as your authentication factor when logging in to the Vault.
7. You can now log in to My VV.
