The disclaimer is shown in the Data Room details overview. You can find these details by navigating to the Settings section on the left-hand side. Only Admins are able to change the settings of a Data Room.
It outlines the confidentiality of the information being shared in the Data Room. All parties in the Data Room must agree to the disclaimer before they can enter. Unlike a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), it has no legal or binding value. However, the disclaimer can be used to inform users in your Data Room about certain settings that apply or the suggested and desired terms of use.
The disclaimer can be set for every project and can be customized at any point during the process. By clicking “set disclaimer” a text box appears in which users are able to edit this.
The disclaimer has to be accepted by all users upon first use of the Data Room and after every time the disclaimer is updated.
