When creating an Archive or performing a Mass download, folder and document names may be automatically shortened to fit path length limits.
This is because Microsoft Windows has a 256-character limit for the folder path.
Example: C:\Users\FirstNameLastName\Desktop\VaultName is 44 characters.
When an archive exceeds this character limit, the folder and document names get shortened to 200 characters. The remaining 56 characters makes sure that the folder structure can be saved on the computer.
Archive tip: The changes applied to the folder and document names can be found in the Process Report.
