Understanding the Roles & Users Audit Legend 

Once the audit log is extracted and loaded in Excel, the information is ready for review. This article gives an overview of the tracked events and how to interpret them.

Note: We are constantly improving and extending our audit log systems with new information and events. Because of these updates and additions, it could be that some events listed below were not present at the time and are therefore not recorded on your archive.

Your Roles & Users Audit Legend consists of the following tracked:

1: Enabled
* this is an extinct permission

Watermark setting

WatermarkEnabled=True: Watermark enabled

WatermarkEnabled=False: Watermark disabled

Microsoft Office 365 viewer setting 

0: Microsoft Office 365 viewer disabled
1: Microsoft Office 365 viewer enabled with View permission
3: Microsoft Office 365 viewer enabled with View & Edit permission

Report setting

Security types

401: Change to Multifactor Login
1: Yearly confirmation
2: Daily confirmation
