Document access and permissions
A Guest can be granted limited permissions on the Documents section of the Data Room.
The available permissions are: View online, Download secured PDF and Original Download. These permissions can be set at both folder and document level.
Guests can review the permissions assigned to them by downloading a Permission report.
Visibility
Guests cannot see other users within the Data Room. However, buy side user can see the names of the other users within their own group due to buy side due diligence coordination.
Q&A and Activity report access
Guests can only view the Q&A if they have been assigned a Q&A role (Question Submitter or Question Drafter).
Enabling the Activity report allows Guest users to see other users and their activities within their role.
