The Q&A chat is used for communication between users within a Question or Answer group. This eliminates any need for external communication tools like email or phone calls. Each question will have it's own chat.
|
1. Open the question where a chat needs to start. The internal chat will be displayed on the right of the Q&A dialogue. |
| 2. Type the message or question. By typing @, a list of users will appear who can be mentioned in the chat. Use this function to actively involve a user in a chat. |
| 3. Mentioned users will receive an instant notification email with the chat message and a direct link to the chat. |
| 4. Questions with a chat icon have an active chat. Chats with unread messages are displayed with a blue notification mark, informing you that there are unread messages and how many. After opening the question, this mark will disappear. Look at the example shown below: |
|
5. After opening the Q&A dialog, the chat will inform you which messages have not been read by you yet. The line Last read informs you that all messages below this are new to you. |
